Oh my gosh, it would be INCREDIBLY AMAZING if I won the chance to perform at Lilith Fair in Vancouver! I remember singing along to Sarah MacLachlan in my teenage candle lit bedroom all mopey eyed and hopeful. Lilith Fair was the first outdoor music festival I ever went to and I stood out in the rain en mass with tears streaming down my face with inspiration for music. This would be a huge dream come true!!!!
Here's how you can vote:
1. Go to the Facebook voting application below and click 'Allow':
http://apps.facebook.com/lilithlocalsearch/?ref=mf2. Click 'Lilith Local Talent Search: Vancouver'
3. Click on the 'Artists' tab (I'm on pg 8, but it's also in alphabetical order if I've moved).
4. Make me your 'Favourite Artist' (there's a little pink heart).
5. Click the 'Judge' tab, and then you will see a list of 4 random artists.
6. Vote for the 4 artists that appear (I may or may not be there in the first round). You have to play each song for 15 seconds (it will glow yellow when it's ready to be moved), then click and drag it into what ever order you like (best to worst) on the right hand side and then hit 'Submit Vote' Keep going!
7. You may have to go through a few more rounds of this until you see me pop up (which is cool because you get to hear and vote for some other talented ladies in the meantime). Since you have made me your 'Favourite' my name will appear in the first few rounds, so keep going until you see me!
8. Once you see me, click and drag me and my song "Stick of Dynamite" to #1 (best), drag the other 3 into the order you prefer and then hit 'Submit Vote'
9. Phew! Sit back and bask in the glory of a good deed well done!
It will also ask you if you want to share your 'Favourite Artist' on your Facebook wall and you can choose to do so or skip it.
You're allowed to vote every day until May 30th! Let's see if we can make this happen!

The official public screening of 'Every Other Tuesday' by David King, a feature comedy/drama film about open mic culture will be showing next Tues, Mar 2nd at the Rio Theatre at 7pm! I acted and played music in the film and I get to play a few songs live after the screening as well! Wanna come?
